Title: The metabolic roots of cell senescence in cardiometabolic disease

Mandy Grootaert has been newly appointed by the university with an academic position in endocrine physiology and pathophysiology. She will introduce her scientific path and expose the project she is developing within the EDIN pole.

The presentation will be followed by a drink to welcome her and to thank Prof JP Thissen of who she is taking the succession for his involvement in our institute.
